One of my gripes with my hair is that due to the styling and basically trauma I put my hair through in order to look like a civilised human being is that my hair is prone to dryness, brittleness, breakage, dullness, and all the other no-no's of hair! I have plenty of ways of combatting these issues and currently my hair is in the healthiest condition it's been in in about 3 or 4 years, I haven't bleached my hair in 2 years and only now my blonde has started to stop growing through (except for an odd blonde patch on the back of my hair). I have quite an array in my hair-care army that keeps me looking fabulous and you all know how much I adore the John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo & Conditioner and the L'Oreal EverPure Sulfate Free Color Care Systme Moisture Reparative Masque (it's the pink and purple one!) and I've actually owned the All Soft duo for quite some time, but since I was loving the John Frieda set since I came back from the UK in April it remained unused in my shower.

My only issue with All Soft is that they purposely create the shampoo bottle to store 50ml more than the conditioner as what is clearly a marketing scheme so that you buy the conditioner again, since we all use far more conditioner than shampoo; especially us girls desperate to restore dry hair. The price isn't totally cheap and is upwards of $20 a bottle (I can't recall the price right now), but at Hairhouse Warehouse they'll often sell giftpacks with this duo at a discounted price.

All Soft doesn't have a particular scent to it which I appreciate, as strong fragrance (as great as it is to have hair that smells amazing!) it isn't good for my scalp condition. The shampoo gently cleanses my hair without making it feel dry, dehydrated or tangled. I'd say it prepares your hair with the right level of cleanliness in order to absorb the conditioner, but not leave your hair with build-up or any greasiness, which is typical of moisturising products. It has a peachy-beige colour and is like a silky gel, whereas the conditioner is a buttery white cream that doesn't (again) have any hint of greasiness or oil to it. I like to leave my conditioner on for about 3 minutes or just while I'm shaving or anything else that you do in the shower and my hair feels significantly softer afterwards. I love that after I shower using this product my curls (even though I never leave my hair natural for the sake of people's eyes and my own self-esteem) are a lot more defined and healthy looking, whereas if I've used bad products my hair doesn't curl and rather becomes a mass of frizzy undefined waves.

I think once I finish my bottles of the John Frieda duo (which are almost out) I'll start getting back into All Soft again, I never really thought that much of it before my holiday but now that my hair's in a better condition I can actually see it's effectiveness more now than ever. I can certainly recommend All Soft to anyone who wants just that; hair that is soft all over!

As much as I love my chest of drawers with all of my stickers on it from when I was growing up, I have had a lot of my room redone (I repainted it and got a new bed at the start of the year) I really want some cohesion with my furniture. My bed is a modern white stained oak kind of wood, my desk and desk chair are pale pink from Ikea, my walls are pastel yellow and then my bedside table and chest of drawers are just out of place with everything else in my room. I like minimalist, modern and elegant furniture and I would feel a lot better if everything in my room just matched, then I could film more videos in there! I believe these both cost around $399 to $499, too much =_=

L'Oreal Paris Absolut Repair Cellular Lactic Acid Shampoo and Conditioner

My boyfriend's cousin (who is gorgeous by the way, thanks Anthea!) posted a picture of this shampoo and conditioner on instagram and said that it's the best combination if you're trying to grow your hair. Obviously I want super long fabulous hair, but it's pretty difficult considering all of my hair's implications. So before I can afford hair extensions I definitely wanna try the L'Oreal Absolut Cellular Repair Lactic Acid shampoo and conditioner, I've heard practically nothing but good things and I adore L'Oreal for hair products, they make my favourite hair mask!

I'm really keen on getting a great black eyeshadow that I can use for sultry smokey eyes in the future, the only black I own is the little section of my Coastal Scents 88 palette, and I'm yet to find a brand with such an amazing range that includes a great matte black and shimmer black that's easily accessible to me, and as strange as that may sound to some M.A.C is the choice for me. Carbon is an intense deep, dark matte black, whereas Black Tied is a velvet finish deep black with a silvery/white shimmer. I can't decide between which I'd like more, but I think that drugstore brands are much more likely to stock a shimmery black colour than a matte one, so if it comes to it I'll probably get Carbon from M.A.C and look into a shimmery black, do you guys know any good ones?

That's all I'm looking into right now, if I get any of these items I'll definitely be letting you guys know and in the place of beauty products I'll review them for you, hope you haven't missed me too much :)

I bought Sahara Treasure when I was in the UK (yes, I still have products from the UK to review) at Boots for £6.99, so much cheaper than it is in Australia! Plus I haven't seen Sahara Treasure in Australia before. Couleur Infallible (in irridescent finish) has the most velvety soft texture, almost like a cushion of eyeshadow (not like the dream bouncy blushes though, that's a totally different texture!). They're so opaque and I find for maximum pigmentation you should apply it with your fingers, rather than an eyeshadow brush, but if you use a brush it's far more build-able.

Sahara Treasure (must be based on the desert) has a beautiful metallic cool gold colour, I wouldn't say it was multiple colours but rather a solid metallic. It definitely reminds of what you would find in a treasure chest (the concept of course) and I've just been loving this lately. I love to layer it over M.A.C Paint Pot in Indianwood or on its own since it's definitely strong enough, with a dark or chestnut brown in the crease and under my lower lashline. I wouldn't even say that Couleur Infallible requires a primer, plus L'Oreal claims that they last for up to 24 hours. Although I'm not exactly game enough to test this considering you shouldn't wear makeup while you sleep!

How pretty is it? I'm in love!

Cosmopolitan only gives out the sample shade N4 Pure Beige which I think is a little dark for most Australian women, I think I'd be more of an W3 in Gold Linen, a much warmer shade! Nevertheless it can easily be lightened with the help of a good moisturiser. Lumi Magique blends like an absolute dreeeeeam, oh my goodness. My skin has been so dry and dull lately, every day when I come home from school it looks like I've been on an airplane for hours, dry.as.a.desert. So getting a sample of a luminous foundation is perfect for me. L'Oreal says that Lumi Magique is for all skin types but I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin! The coverage is light to medium, depending on how you apply it, I used my Coastal Scents Classic Buffer Large Synthetic Brush and it's stunning to apply. As soon as I started blending I was immediately like "oh wow!", I love it! Here's a look at my lit from within glow :)
