Hello my little dolls, I am absolutely THRILLED to see that people have still been accessing, reading and following my blog, you guys are too sweet :) Well I'm back now to give you more lovely content to brighten up your beauty days, I hope you enjoy it! I apologise for my lack of commitment but I am hoping that this year I can improve it and really stick together with you guys.

Now, onwards! I've got some really stunning eyeshadows to tell you guys about and they're becoming real staples in my makeup collection. I got them as a christmas gift in a set, so I don't think they're sold anymore but they're the Accessorize Merged Eyeshadows in shades 7, 8 and 9; Golden Caramel, Molten Copper and Cosmic Rays.

They've got this cute little almost dish-like plastic packaging with the Accessorize logo and butterfly on the front in gold font, which while looks attractive can be a little difficult to see in photos! 

Okay so truth be told I am an absolute SUCKER for any eyeshadows that are brown, gold, copper or bronze, or anything in that family really. I can't help it! I love warm tones, they're so flattering on all eye colours, hair colours, outfits, skin tones and are extremely versatile. Molten Copper is definitely a rich, orangey copper that has subtle glitters of gold and brown, do take care in the sense that this colour by far has the most fallout, so it can fall into eyelashes and if you're not aware into the eye, this is pretty rare though and most competent people won't do this, maybe it's just me haha =___= One of my favourite things about Molten Copper is that it looks as if they have baked gold leaf into the eyeshadow and it looks really pretty, strong mixture of warm tones does me just fine!

Cosmic Rays is a very unique eyeshadow with a cool name, I myself actually use khaki colours every now and then with gold on the lid and dark khaki/browns in the crease, but I am actually yet to use it. Cosmic Rays looks more like a planet than it does an eyeshadow, but like Molten Copper it has that stunning baked gold leaf appearance in pan. From swatches alone it appears to have the least fallout of the three, with a strong pearlescent khaki base and fine golden shimmer rather than almost glitters in the other two shades, I think this would look incredible on someone with brown eyes or with violet eyes (you can always try contacts though!) but khaki is far more of a workable shade than you might think, so don't not give Cosmic Rays a chance!

If you live in the UK Accessorize is a much more accessible (see what I did there?) brand to you than in other countries and from what I can tell on the website is stocked by Monsoon, however from browsing the website alone this trio doesn't appear to be available, maybe it's just a holiday set? I am unaware of the prices unfortunately as again it was a gift, but if you do ever come across these eyeshadows they are beautiful! I have seen Accessorize standalone stores in England but I'm not entirely sure of their stance now.

There are a few major corporations that are the owners of all our favourite brands, so it's not just a coincedence when two different brands will release a similar concept of product at the same time and this is an evident case in Max Factor and Covergirl, who are both owned by pharmaceutical giant Procter and Gamble. Whilst I was in the UK I noticed an abundance of Max Factor at all of the major high street stores, but no Covergirl. Max Factor is only available to the USA online, I believe they used to have it a few years ago but it didn't sell well. Obviously it would feel like a loss to both parties to not be able to easily purchase both brands, but there's no real loss at all, let me give you an example!

Though a novel concept, Smoky ShadowBlast is far better in theory than practice, and are not only notorious for the stick ends breaking, but also for a formula with a weak colour payoff and pigmentation. All of the shades are very frosty and crease and fade far too quickly to be worth any amount of money.

I can't be exactly sure but I do believe these products have the same formula considering the reviews for Smokey Eye Effect Shadow aren't exactly glowing either, in fact they're the opposite. The colours again have little to no pigmentation when applied onto the eye, are extremely troublesome to blend, are patchy, frosty and leave an uneven film of colour that makes blending step 2 to step 1 a nightmare. Though the colours in Smokey Eye Effect Shadow are more sophisticated than the young audience that Covergirl targets, but the product is just as bad.

I've got quite the affinity for lip products and that has been so for a while now, ever since I bought 9 Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cube while I was on the plane to Singapore (it's only available on in-flight shopping) for $65, considering a single Super Lustrous lipstick retails for $21.95 in Australia, having 9 for that price was totally unmissable. Onwards! I first heard of the L'Oreal Rouge Caresse (otherwise known as the L'Oreal Color Riche Caresse Lipsticks in the US) on FleurDeForce and when I was in Boots (they were £7.99 each) in the UK they still hadn't released the Revlon Lip Butters so I figured this was like L'Oreal's answer, not quite!

The packaging is quite sturdy see through plastic which is great so you can clearly see the product inside. The formula isn't actually like the Revlon Lip Butters at all, Lip Butters are more like a lipstick, very creamy and opaque, but Rouge Caresse is like a lightweight sturdy gel stick, with a thin but highly pigmented and long lasting formula. Aphrodite Scarlet is actually more of a shimmery pink colour rather than a red, and has beautiful colour payoff while being light and moisturising at the same time. It's not like any other colour or product I own or have seen before!

Though I'm not fully aware of their availability internationally, I believe they're available at most drugstores in the US and UK. I highly recommend them :)

As I've said before when I was in UK I was looking for amazing products that were only available then and there, and unfortunately not in Australia. One of the best recommended products that I found on my trip was the Collection (2000) Shimmer Shades Blushalicious Blusher, and I am loving it!

My hair is problematic to say the very least, it's big, curly, thick, coloured, dry, split, I've got seborrheic dermatitis, trust me the list goes on. John Frieda's Full Repair line is aimed at girls with "over styled" hair, you know, those girls who can't put their GHD down every morning, just like, you and I? Certainly me! 

When I went to England I didn't take my Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner with me, didn't want to risk the spillage, so the first day I was there I went down to Boots and noticed this pigeon pair.

I first read about the new Full Repair line on Fleur De Force (love!) back in February and I was certainly intrigued, but didn't recall it again till I went to Boots. The shampoo and conditioner were about 6 pounds each or a little less, forgive me! The shampoo and conditioner both have a really love fruity scent derived from "Inca Inchi Oil"; weightlessly repairing the hair. The other main concept of Full Repair is to weightlessly restore bounce and body into hair without weighing it down, now since my hair naturally has a lot of volume I always avoid products that have anything to do with the words body, volume, bounce, because I need something to smoothen and almost deflate my hair a little, otherwise I look like a lioness!

Onto the products, the shampoo is a translucent white gel, it lathers quite nicely (though lather factor has nothing to do with the effectiveness of a product!), doesn't irritate my scalp and leaves it feeling fresh and clean. My favourite part is how when I just use the shampoo alone and wash it out, my hair doesn't get that dry straw feeling in between washing out shampoo and applying conditioner, I can run my comb through my hair after shampoo, which is great considering I don't find that with any other shampoo! The conditioner is a mildly thick cream that smells heavenly, it's not too heavy, not oily or greasy, and revitalises my hair in a really great way, the pair are the best combination of shampoo and conditioner I have ever used, and for the price I will definitely be repurchasing!

On another note, I also bought the split end repair serum from the Full Repair line, but I took the last box at Boots and it turned out the bottle was broken, so there was serum all inside my shopping bag :/ My Bourjois blush still smells of John Frieda!
