Typical of Revlon to have gorgeous and rather elegant packaging for a drugstore brand (even though I'm paying practically high end prices =____=) with a stunning quilted lipstick case in the colour of your chosen Lip Butter that has a see through top so you can actually view the shade itself in store, and a sticker down the bottom that is also the same shade as your product. Let me reiterate that the Revlon Lip Butters are not a bad product, but I regret buying this particular shade and I think that there are a lot of ladies out there who would have had the same problem. Regardless of this they have a beautifully creamy texture that lends strong colour opacity despite its moisturising balm properties.

So if you can't really tell from the pictures above, Strawberry Shortcake just doesn't really suit me. I find it's one of those pinks that's extremely difficult to wear for a variety of reasons, I believe one of them is that it doesn't suit my olive undertones, it doesn't suit my eye colour (a mixture of light green/blue/brown) and I feel it would better suit brown eyes. It makes your teeth appear yellow even if they're perfectly white, and I think that the natural pigmentation of my lips is a bit too dark for Strawberry Shortcake so I have to apply it very generously if I want it to be opaque, but because it's not flattering I don't at all! It's a bit like a M.A.C Viva Glam Gaga (which I do own, and am struggling to use due to the same reasons) or a M.A.C Saint Germain on me, this barbie pink colour just doesn't work with me at all. I've also had a M.A.C artist use Angel on me and I had the same issue. It's such a shame because I'm so drawn to these colours and then I remember how awful they look on me :( 

I can most definitely recommend the Revlon Lip Butters as an overall product but do be careful with your shades. If you're in Australia I suggest you test them in store to find the correct shade and then purchase them online through eBay as the prices over here for them are ridiculous.

Perfect Peony is such a beautiful subtle peachy pink with tiny hints of golden shimmer, it kind of reminds me of Nars Orgasm in a lip gloss/lip paint form. I might keep trying to use it with application of lip balms earlier on because I really want to love this, but for now I cannot recommend it!

Antioxidants are an essential and vital part of taking the best possible care for your skin in order to protect against free-radical damage, sun exposure, pollution and cigarette smoke. All of these in combination affect your skins collagen levels and ability to heal and repair itself, as well as producing abnormal cells within your body. Antioxidants work with skin identical ingredients, cell communicating ingredients and skin repairing ingredients and no matter what age you are the more of these ingredients the better.

First of all the wand is absolutely MASSIVE, it's longer than the length of my eye, and I've got big eyes! clearly this could be an issue considering you could get mascara on the edges of your eyes which is just a bother more than anything, and makes it messy. Secondly I found the formula very thin, for such a big brush you'd assume you'd have loads of product on your lashes straight up, but alas! I was wrong. According to Collection Big Fake False Lash Effect has "a unique 3D lash boosting tube technology that wraps around each lash for a 'lash extension' effect", I've never really used any tubing mascaras before so this would be my first, not a positive experience. Big Fake False Lash Effect didn't enhance the volume or thickness of my lashes, it basically went over the length I already have (since my lashes are very full and long, I won a portion of the genetic eyelash lottery) without giving me a real superstar look. I was more puzzled than anything considering such a large wand, and it applies such little product, disappointing for me! 

Collection Big Fake False Lash Effect Mascara retails for Boots and other UK outlets at £4.99, but I don't recommend it.

It's called The Face Shop Jewel Therapy Self Steam Hair Pack, supposedly containing concentrations of five different jewels, and it "provides the recovery for damaged hair & intense nutritious hair treatment". And it warns on the front of the packaging that it gets very hot, first of all it's just a gimmick, and I didn't feel any source of heat on my head. I think even when I first saw it I had a feeling that it was gonna be pretty dodgy, but for $9 it couldn't be that bad, right?
