Hair Lust!

Since I had my last haircut and colour in late March my hair has been really on the right track, and I'm thanking that partially to the most amazing (drugstore!) hair mask, the (be prepared for this mouthful) L'Oreal EverPure Sulfate Free Color Care System Moisture Reparative Masque, phew!

I bought this from Coles when they had a half price sale on everything from the L'Oreal sulfate free line, usually a bit pricey for a supermarket-sold brand (around $16+) but all the products were reduced to $7. I haven't heard the best news about people's first experiences with sulfate free shampoos and conditioners, and I've really been loving my John Frieda Full Repair way too much, so I thought I'd give the mask a try first, and thank goodness I did!
I've gotten a whole heap of compliments (yay!) on how healthy and shiny my hair looks, its really been behaving for the past two months and my colour still looks great too. My only qualm with this product is the inclusion of rosemary and peppermint, personally it makes my hair smell a bit like a roast lamb and the smell lingers for the next day or two. More-so the fact that rosemary and peppermint are both known skin irritants, and because I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp I have to be very careful not to agitate it, so when I do apply this mask I only apply the remainder on the top of my head, concentrating on my ends and mid lengths first.
The texture of the mask is more like a thick cream, rather than a slippery gel like a lot of masks, one tub will last you quite a long time and it honestly is the best hair mask I've ever used, believe me I've tried dozens of them!
L'Oreal Everpure is available in most supermarkets and pharmacies in Australia.
